To address the problem of excessively built-up properties, an upcoming patch will temporarily disable the bb.increaserentalunitcap command. This cheat enables players to add unlimited rental properties on home plots.
"We’re removing the Residential Rental Unit cheat in an upcoming update, as a preventative step as more comprehensive solutions are worked on," the company stated. "While we take player agency highly, to err on the side of safety, this action is needed to reduce its possible harm."
